I love how comfortable this bike is. I don't cringe thinking about working out, because of house comfortable the seat is. But I still build up a sweat while using.
I wasn't expecting too much for the price, but I needed something affordable that I could use at home since I wanted to cancel my gym membership. I'm surprisingly impressed with how amazing this purchase was! It was easy to assemble and comes with clear directions and all the tools needed. It feels heavy (while still being small and easy to move) and I feel secure while riding it, it doesn't rock back and forth and I don't feel like I'm going to fall off. I don't use it heavily so I'm not sure how good this will be for professionals, but it feels solid.
Assembly was easy. It is sturdy, quiet and has good features for the price. It took a little longer than expected to be shipped, but once that was sorted I had zero complaints and I am please with this company.
I've been struggling with my health due to an injury and gained weight due to not being able to workout during recovery. This bike has helped me feel ontop of my health again. It is really easy to put together and feels really sturdy despite it being a folding bike. I was scared of purchasing it at first due to my weight but am happy to report it is sturdy and holds my weight well!
This treadmill is relatively inexpensive compared to other brands, but one of the pricier options for this site. I ended up going with it because I liked the features, look and reviews. Super happy I did. It was worth extra couple hundred dollars. I can tell it's good quality and it was easy to assemble.
The box was damaged, not sure if it is the company's fault or the delivery. Thankfully none of the parts were damaged. The assembly wasn't horrible. I had a few issues with one of the screws not fitting properly, but after a little maneuvering I was able to figure it out. So far it's just an ok elliptical.
This is one of my favorite purchases I have ever made. I was so close to spending thousands on a home bike, but at the last second chose this instead and I am so thankful I did. Not only did I save a ton of money, but I am blown away by the workout I get. I use it along with a few workout apps and youtube videos. It is a great size, easy to put together. Do not hesitate to purchase, you will be impressed!
Ellipticals are my go to machine at the gym, but due to covid I decided to cancel my gym membership and get a home machine instead. I am so so so so glad I did. The quality of this elliptical is amazing for the price. There's virtually no noise, the levels are challenging and I get a great workout. I needed help carrying the box into my house because it was HEAVY, but the assembly was manageable with help. Would recommend a thousand times over.
This is a high quality machine. I went with this model because I wanted something a little nicer, but still affordable and I am blown away by how sturdy it is! I also am impressed by the intensity. I get a great workout on this.
I'm a senior and have had a hard time getting the exercise I need due to covid. I bought this treadmill to help me get my walks in while staying safe, since I can't get out much more. I like that it's easy to use and has a safety release button. It is a heavy box so if you're older like me you may need help. Set up was easy and I use it everyday. Can't speak for those who workout more intensely, but for my purpose this has been a great treadmill.
I jog practically everyday and this treadmill has been a workhorse. It is really sturdy. Because of that you will need 2 people to lift it out of the box/assemble.
I highly recommend this bike! It's the perfect home workout. It doesnt take up much space, inexpensive and works great.
Great home workout! Love that it is a simple compact bike and provides a nice home workout without the complicated fees or classes. It was no harder to assemble than furniture with straightforward steps.
It folds up and has a pulse reader on the handlebars which useful features. Other than that this is a simple treadmill without all the bells and whistles, but worth every penny due to the easy assembly and silent running. Would buy again!
Really happy with this product. What you see is what you get, no surprises just an easy to use durable treadmill. I use it to walk and just needed something simple but durable and this is exactly that.
Arrived quickly & super easy to assemble. Loved that the tools needed were included because I don't have any tools at home. Resistance is great for my out of shape self. And it's next to silent while in use!
I found this bike to have too much resistance. I had difficulty even on level 1. So if you're looking for a challenge then maybe that's a plus. For me I needed something easier.
I was worried after reading a few reviews that it would be hard to put together, but I was able to by myself in only half an hour! So far no issues and it feels like a solid machine.
I had a few issues, but customer service was quick, efficient and friendly. I would recommend it simply for the customer service alone, but it's also good quality and price. Thank you!
You get what you pay for, but overall I'm happy and it serves its purpose. It arrived quickly. There isn't much incline and it could be quieter, but for the price and quick delivery I am happy.
It was easy to put together. Feels solid. I was worried it would shake, but it doesn't at all. Works great.
This is a great reasonably priced bike for those needing an easy option for covid and social distancing. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something I could possibly be using temporarily. I get a great workout for the price.
I'm blown away by this bike and the price. It was super easy to put to gether. Sturdy and comfortable to use. Takes up barely any space and fits in my closet when folded up.
Delivery was very prompt. I received all the parts needed. While assembly was difficult, XTERRA helped me figure everything out and now I have a sturdy, working elliptical to exercise on.
The bike is easy to use and I like how lightweight it is. The way you fold it is super easy to figure out. Works well.
I purchased this model approximately 5 years ago. It was a great machine for 4 years and limped along the final year. Overall I do not regret this machine- I work it beyond the average person and it took the abuse like a champ!
I just got this end of July and a few things of note:
1) EXCELLENT Customer Service from Xterra!
2) EXCELLENT communication from shipping company to me! The guy who delivered was super nice and a great guy.
3) It's a BIG treadmill. We live in an apartment, and it's basically another piece of furniture. However, it's worth it!
4) GREAT VALUE! For the price, you can't beat the quality. I'm very pleased!
Easy to put together, perfect size for my small apartment, sturdy, good price. Would recommend.
I bought this bike because of the reviews and price. I was looking for something simple that I could use to exercise at home. It is so comfortable! The knob is easy to use and allows you to change the resistance. There are no bells and wistles and that's exactly what I wanted. Something simple and effective and I got that with this bike!!!
I have had this bike for 4 years now.
Use it three nights a week for about 5 miles a night.
It works perfectly, and is still as quiet as the day I bought it.
EXCEPTIONAL VALUE FOR THE MONEY SPENT TO PURCHASE IT.
I am so happy with this treadmill. I jog leisurely so I can't speak for more serious athletes, but the simplicity of this treadmill makes it perfect for me. I jog daily on it and have zero issues. Feels sturdy and the folding feature is nice. It feels secure when folding because of the sturdy bar. I've had treadmills in the past that were wobbly when folding and scared me, this one isn't like that at all.
I'm only 5'2" and it's hard for me to get in and out of. It takes up little space though and the folding feature is nice. Once I am able to get on it I get a pretty good workout in. Just wish I would have paid attention to the dimensions.
I would give this a lower review if it weren't for the price. You get what you pay for with this elliptical. It is sturdy and smooth, but the technology aspect of it is lacking. The speakers are low quality and the assembly was difficult. But it works as far as using for a basic workout and I didn't have to spend a bunch of money on it.
Assembly took about an hour. It wasn't too difficult, but the directions could have been clearer. I am taller and the stride length is fine. Provides a smooth workout and feels sturdy.
Was easy to assemble with some help from my grandson. It is a sturdy machine and moves smoothly. It is easy for me to workout in. I would recommend this.
I researched rowing machines over a period of 2-months and finally decided on the ERG 700. This was due to the warranty (lifetime frame, 5-years parts, and 1-year labor) & weight capacity (350lbs.). From a health and fitness standpoint, this was the best investment of my life. The tension on the adjustable workouts is challenging and can be adjusted to fit your workout needs.
The frame is sturdy and the strap, which I was originally concerned about, is made of the old, durable seatbelt material, so no issue with potential breakage. The machine is sturdy, durable, and is built for any challenge. My shirts and pants are grateful for the ERG700, and so am I.
Now to the part that was really impressive. I contacted customer service due to the heal strap having come apart. Sam, in the parts department was very helpful, courteous and understanding of my issue. Not only did Sam provide a replacement for the broken heal strap, he also offered an extra strap for the other side. Now that is what I call EXCELLENT customer service.
Thanks Sam and Xterra for the most pleasant purchasing experience I have had in many years.
I got this in November of ‘19. I use it nearly everyday 4-6Km. Great results and in better shape than I have been in for some time. However the flex pedal has already snapped. I’m beginning to question durability but I have reported it to customer service as I registered the rower (XTERRA ERG700). Five year warranty should definitely cover this. Hopefully the pedal replacement comes quickly as I’m itching to get back to work.
We've had our treadmill for about 6 months now. Overall I would say it's a good treadmill for the price if you look at all of the features and warranty for the motor. However, it has been a very noisy treadmill with plenty of squeaks and clanks. Lubricant can take care of the squeaks but the clanks from running on it seem to be due to design. After two months of use, the bolt that attaches the jack to the treadmill so that it can incline broke. I found a replacement from my hardware store and it seems to be holding up. Overall it's a great treadmill but if you don't want noise metal clanking noise during your runs, you should look else where.
My rower was delivered on time. Everything I needed, including tools to put it together, were in the kit. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The rower is smooth, quiet and when I adjust the tension, I can tell a difference. My previous experience was a water rower at my gym and there was never a difference in tension. I’ve only had it about a month but I use it frequently and love it!
I realize this was a cheaper model, but I’m a little disappointed with the resistance on it. The max is way too easy. It’s sturdy for the price, but the resistance is disappointing. I will still get use out of it and it keeps me moving, but wishing I had spent a little more money to get a workout with more of a challenge. Would be good for someone not needing a ton of resistance.
I’m a beginner rower so this was a perfect choice for me. Great for a quick home workout and the setup was easy. I didn’t want to go with a more expensive model because I wasn’t sure how often I would use it, glad I chose this one. I use it a lot, it’s sturdy and I didn’t have to spend a ton of money on it.
Impressed with how sturdy this rower is especially for the price. I’m a bigger dude and have no issues using it. Like other reviewers have said out there, the resistance could go higher. The highest level gives me a good workout, but there is no room to move up if I want a burn.
I have had this treadmill almost 2 months. I love it! It feels very sturdy and very much like the more expensive treadmills at my gym. I would recommend this treadmill and even buy it again. It’s just perfect!!!
I bought this so I could work out from home during covid as I'm older and want to be safe. This has gone beyond my expectations. It's comfortable for me to get in and out of and was a great price. Very happy I purchased.
It took me about 2 hours to put this elliptical together. I found the instructions and labels (or lack there-of) a little confusing but I was able to put it together in the end and so far the elliptical has worked great. If it weren’t for the limited instructions I would give it five stars.
Sturdy construction, stable and incredibly quiet. It holds up my weight well and is surprising sturdy for an elliptical under $300. My one qualm is with the console and instructions. I found the instructions limited and had to figure out how to use the console on my own. Other than that this has been a great elliptical for the price.
This seated stepper runs smoothly, quietly & provides a great work-out; the console is easy to read & it's fun using the various exercise programs. So glad we purchased it & so glad that my husband assembled it!
I bought off of QVC.com and even though I paid 1200$ vs the $899 here, I got a payment plan which was the deal breaker for me.
Onto the Bike:
I have used it almost for 2 hours daily for 2 weeks now. It rocks. It is legit. It is hardcore. It is what you make of it. Push hard or push soft.
I sweat hardcore after I begin warming up. I hit a certain point and I just start pouring sweat.
Add a little "PREGYM preworkout" and you're in for a war.
Get this bike it will hurt you good.
I’m torn on this bike. On one hand it is built well with a smooth and silent ride. What I’m less than impressed with is the heart rate monitor, programs and stats. It provides an ok workout, but is missing some of the bells and whistles of other models I was looking at.
It was easy to assemble and fairly easy to move with the wheels on the front. I am shocked with how silent this machine is when in use. I’m a bigger dude and am used to machines making a few noises while I’m on them, but so far this bike is silent. One thing to note is the angle of the seat is not adjustable, but I find it to be comfortable as is so it hasn’t been an issue so far. Stats are pretty basic, so if you’re looking for something more complicated when it comes to information or classes or something then maybe not the best choice, but for that stuff you pray the price. This is a completely satisfactory bike that honestly goes above my expectations for the price point.
Very pleased with this bike. My favorite features are the many levels of resistance. It changes between levels smoothly. It is quiet and built like a tank, but isn’t as bulky as some other recumbent bikes so it doesn’t take up as much space in my house. The technology is pretty basic, but that’s a positive for me. I just wanted to sit down and workout, some other options are too complicated for me.
I’m glad I went with this bike during social distancing. All the gyms are closed around me and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on something I may not be using for a long time. Turns out I may actually use this for a while I like it so much! Beats paying for a membership and the programs get my heart rate pumping.
This bike is easy to assemble and a great price. I bought it for my mom who’s on the shorter side and it works great for her. It’s comfortable and doesn’t put any strain on her back, the seat is large enough to put a pillow on for even more padding.
Instructions are easy and the parts are well labeled. I like how the seat has a back and is comfortable to sit in unlike some other bikes with the smaller seats. I also find the bike to be very quiet which is an added bonus.
Item arrived really quickly and wasn’t hard to put together. Should have ordered sooner! We get a lot of use of it.
Overall happy with this bike for the price. Shipping took a while, but the packing was secure and assembly was easy. The instructions were easy to follow. The seat is loose and slips when using, it won’t lock in place. I’m still able to use the bike but this is a little annoying.
Great rower. Very solid aluminum frame. Ultimately, what sold me on this rower over the Waterrower brand was the nice aluminum frame over the wood. Much better price point with Xterra.
Pros: looks great, rows VERY smooth, solid frame, easy to put together, nice handle, great price point.
Cons: had it for a week now using it once a day and it’s very squeaky at the seat and the main console. Will get in touch with cust. service to see if WD40 is ok, foot holders are a bit uncomfortable but the straps are EXCELLENT compared to Concept2.
Overall excellent quality. Never had a water rower before and I’ll never go back now. Without the squeaking, this would be an almost perfect rower. I recommend it for sure.
I’m very happy with this treadmill. It is heavy duty and quiet. The controls are simple and it was a great price. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and it’s held up so far. I particularly like how big the running surface is.
Both my wife and I use this treadmill multiple times a day and we haven’t run into any issues yet. Surprised with how well it’s holding up to frequent use. It was easy to put together. I would buy this again.
I want to start by saying I wasn’t even thinking about assembly when I bought the bike and the assembly was very easy and straightforward! I am a very active person myself but wanted something small and convenient to add to my home gym! This bike has been absolutely outstanding and worth every penny specifically during this COVID-19.! Great quality, outstanding price! I Highly recommend it!!
I use to row at the gym, but can’t now due to Covid. I bought the 700 model and got it today. My husband put it together in less than 30 minutes and it’s gorgeous. He wanted a long rower since he’s tall and this one is huge. I’m small and it works great for me too. We’ve only had it a few hours, but love it already. The seat is comfy and a little padded. The console is bright, with many modes. The rower is quiet when used, which I did not expect. The shoe holders are very large and my one complaint is the straps on those are very hard to adjust like the ones I’m use to at the gym. Other than that, it’s a great buy and I’m excited to get in shape. It’s a hardy piece of equipment for sure.
Great exercise tool. I like that I can easily move it between rooms. I did struggle with putting it together, but thankfully I had help. After the initial struggle though I am so happy! I use it all the time. I've already loose weight from using.
This has been the perfect bike for our situation right now. I did not want to spend a ton of money on something so I went with this cheaper model compared so others. I also like that it can be folded and put away. Fits well in a closet. Like other reviews have said, this bike is extremely quiet which is great for my family as I didn’t want to wake up my sleeping kids if I decided to wake up early for a ride. Very happy I purchased this bike
This is the perfect bike for someone on a budget like me. It’s quiet, folds up easily. I am shocked with how inexpensive it was. Could not recommend this bike more.
Really happy with this bike especially for the price. I had no issues with assembly and it’s a fairly quiet bike while exercising. My one complaint is the seat can get uncomfortable after using it for a little while.
While the bike overall appears to be a decent purchase for the price paid, the height range of this model inexplicably promises to fit users up to 6’2”. This was a step up from an earlier model - FB350 and the main reason for me to purchase the FB360 model. I am a normally-proportioned male of 6’ in height. In order to use the bike I must put a thick book and a pillow on top of the saddle, with the seat at its highest setting. Only then the height begins to approach the correct one. I think the seat post needs to be about 4” taller in order to fit my height. 6’2”? Forget it!
I contacted the company after receiving and trying out the bike and asked if they can offer some adjustment or take the bike back. They recommended returning it to the merchant I bought it from. I had the bike shipped to me as this being April in NYC driving to a merchant store is not advisable. When pushed further given falsely advertised height range I was promised a call from a supervisor that never came.
Overall, a decent bike for a single average-height person. A lack of quick height change knob makes sharing the bike between different people a hassle. The fact that the company doesn’t stand behind its product and continues to advertise the inflated height range is not encouraging.
For such an inexpensive bike, I am extremely impressed with the smooth ride and general quality of the bike. The digital readout works fine. One review I read before purchasing cautioned not to crimp any of the wires when assembling the bike. Guess that works. The bike is really silent, which is great for watching TV. The seat is large and hard but with the second set of handlebars, changing positions is easy so riding for extended time periods is fine.
Listen, this bike is under $200 and it definitely isn’t perfect. But for the price I am blown away by how much use I’ve gotten out of it. My biggest complaint is that it is probably better designed for shorter people. I have it set to the highest level and I’m not even that tall.
This bike is nearly perfect. Its lightweight but still sturdy enough to hold my body weight. It folds up easily. Overall feel good about this purchase.
I did a lot of research before finally deciding to go with this one and I am so happy I did. It was extremely easy to put together and is extremely compact. I knew I needed a folding bike for this reason. It just folds up and fits in a closet while I’m not using it. I’m a curvier girl and was worried I’d be sacrificing support for the compact design of a folding bike, but I am pleasantly surprised how supported I feel on this bike!
Have had the machine for about 2 weeks and use everyday. It works great and I’m super impressed with the price/functionality. If I had to complain about one thing, the heart rate monitor takes a little longer than past machine’s I’ve used to give me a reading.
I was extremely impressed with how compact this machine is. Because of this the stride is slightly smaller than the stride I’m used to on my gym’s equipment, but honestly doesn’t bother me and it fits perfectly in my small house. The instructions are not the clearest, but I was able to successfully put it together after a little struggle.
This is a really great bike for the price. It’s sturdy and works well. I had issues with the assembly. I received my bike with some of the bolts missing. Customer service was really nice and helpful and once I got the bike up and running it worked great.
I found assembly to be extremely easy with the help of another person. Most of the screws were already on there, so that was one less step to do. I am of average height and the stride is just right. I haven’t used too much yet, but my first impression of this machine is really good
I went with this model because I was looking for an affordable elliptical that still had multiple resistance levels. For the price I am happy with this purchase. It was a little difficult to put together and the bolts needed to be tightened after awhile, but overall happy with it.
Thank you so much for making a bike for shorter people. It was impossible to find a stationary bike that fits short legs like mine..that is until now. Also the quiet nature of the drivetrain is well appreciated by my neighbors. This bike lets me get my much needed cardio in without any excuses especially with all the gyms closed on account of covid 19. Thank you so much again!
Absolutely best purchase I've made in years. Quiet as a mouse, easy to assemble. Perfect for under6' but I called another hole and use a seat cushion and is fine for me at 6'1".
I love my bike but the seat is most uncomfortable. Wish this came with gel a seat, otherwise it’s a wonderful bike.
Shane (ext 626) was super helpful. Our treadmill had a cracked piece when we opened the box and not only did he help to replace it but helped me register the machine. He also gave great advice on maintenance. I have only had it a short time but so far I'm very happy with the customer service.
Great beginner fitness bike!!
For the most part this is a good treadmill. It is a little louder than I expected based on other reviews. Not loud in a bad way, just not what I expected. It works great, runs smoothly and has good programs/features. My main complaint is with the speaker quality. It is very low and music does not sound clear at all. If you’re ok with the speaker issue, then I would recommend this treadmill.
I was nervous spending a little bit more money on this treadmill, but I’m happy I did. After going to the gym for so long and using equipment there I decided I wanted to pull the plug and finally get an at home treadmill. Fairly easy to assemble. It is well built and solid piece of equipment. The fan is weak and the speakers aren’t the greatest, but the smoothness of the treadmill and the quality of its build make up for that.
It was a little bit difficult to get inside and set up, but that’s expected with a heavy piece of equipment. It’s over 200lbs and a large box. I would recommend having 2 people, someone to hold the side rail steady while you attach the electronics. You can tell it is built nicely. It folds up smoothly and runs quietly. Glad I went with this model.
Since receiving my treadmill I have used it everyday! When looking for treadmills I was specifically looking for one with plenty of room for jogging and running and found it hard to find one with the width space I was looking for. This treadmill works perfectly! It has the perfect width and runs very smooth. The way it transitions between speed and incline feels very smooth/natural. There’s a large selection of preset programs to choose from, I haven’t gotten the chance to try them all, but I like that I have options! My one complaint would be that the media shelf is a little small. I have issue fitting my iPhone on there securely. It did take two people to set up, so make sure you have help!
I won this as an award for employee of the year. This is great for me because it give a great work out without impact on the knee and ankles. I love this device
In college I was on the rowing team, but life happened and I never kept up with it. I have been "asking Santa" for a rowing machine for years and finally he (my wife) got me one! I knew I wanted a rower with water resistance, and the rest came down to price and features. For the price, this is way more fully featured and well-built than I expected. There are way more pre-programmed workouts than I will probably use, but my go-to has been the race against the computer which is fun. The other cool thing is that the rower actually folds up if you need to make some space, I've only had to fold it a couple of times but it was easy. If you're looking for a rower, I would definitely recommend this one. I am not sure how it's not twice the price, but I'm not complaining!
i didn't even know they made rowers, but i'm glad i found this one!!! suuuuuuper cool water rower i can train with at home! very easy to set up and just hop on when i'm feeling like getting a quick session in! the water tank is great. i like that its angled as i love looking at it when i'm rowing and the resistance is no joke when you get it filled all the way up. just put it at a level thats right for you and you will definitely feel it. i dont really use any of the programs because i make my own and save them in the custom spots but that feature works great. everything feels solid and quality. now im thinking of getting one of their bikes too - loving the direction theyre taking with their newer models. xterra is crushing it!!!!
Quick shipping. Great machine for my budget. Went together in no time and hasn't had any issues so far. Recommend A++++
Just what the doctor ordered! Okay, not really - my doctor just said I need to start losing weight, but this is definitely helping me do that! 7lbs so far and counting! Seriously, you have to give this a try. If my "big bones" can do it, so can you. No more excuses. The price is right, this oen is sturdy even for me, and it is fun to use but defineitly challenging. My kids like to play on it pretending they are pirates sailing off to a island. XD Doesn't bother me, little do they know it's good for them hah!
This thing is so cool! I have only had it up and running about a week but I love it! Everyone knows that rowing is the best workout you can get and at this price there's no reason not to have one - it even folds up so even if you don't have a fancy home gym (like 99% of people out there) you can put this anywhere. Everything is pretty straight forward and easy to use. The seat is actually pretty comfortable. The whole machine is pretty solid and quiet even when I'm going pretty hard. I like that I can just hop on this for 20 minutes and get a great workout in whenever I want now. Oh - also - the XTERRA customer service is awesome. I had to call in for an extra part (my dog got a hold of a piece when I was putting it together...) and they were very helpful and very nice and were able to get a replacement to me quickly. 5 stars!
Good bike, but there is a bit more noise from the fan than a normal spin bike that some other people may find to be a nuisance. I don't mind the trade off as I really like the sound and it helps keep me motivated and pushing hard. Love the styling and the included bottle holder. This one does have wheels so you can move it out the way if your using it in the living room or something like I do. I've already lost 4 pounds and plan to hit my goal of 15 by the holidays.
This thing is awesome! It took some getting used to the fan resistance compared to bikes I use at my local gym, but I won't go back. I tend to be a heavy sweater and even when I'm pumping hard I just get a nice glow - ha! I had to call customer service when I was assembling it, but they were super helpful and answered my silly question right away.
I've had this bike for around a month or so. So far so good. I ride 3 or 4 times a week and my previous bike was starting to experience more problems than it was worth. This new bike runs smooth, is comfortable to ride, and feels stable and high quality. Shipping was fast and it was easy to assemble. Definitely recommend and am glad I chose this model over a few others I was looking at.
Ok, I bought this machine because I liked how it looked better than the others I researched. I ordered it as a gift for my husband. He loves this machine. He says it rides smooth, the seat is very comfy and he loves the race mode. I love the design and white frame. It just looks so nice in his office. Nice clean lines. We're both happy.
I have been wanting a water rower for a while. Most of them are really expensive. I wanted a quality machine that seems reliable. I row at least 3X per week. I picked this one over the other because I liked what it said about the tilted tank and the extra programs. Glad I went for the extra funds (financed it at 0%). So far, I've had this machine a month and I'm so happy with my purchase. I love rowing on the water - but can't get there during the week. This machine with swooshing water helps bring me back. I like the programs -- it challenges me and adds variety.
I bought this treadmill because it seemed like a nice relatively compact machine. I keep mine set at the 2nd incline level and it gives me just the right amount to get a better workout out of my walks. I speed walk on the machine every evening. It's quiet, I can read my kindle and get my steps in. Perfect for me. Very happy - great price too.
I purchased this rowing machine about a month ago. I can’t tell you how amazing this machine is, no matter what tension you have it set on, it glides right through the workout. Assembly was very easy. My wife has tried it a couple of times and has been very impressed. This our first machine like this and we are extremely happy with this purchase! Thank you Xterra! All of Xterra’s products are amazing, two wetsuits and swim gear! Freakin amazing company!
Shane (Jonesboro,AR) provided excellent service. I am thrilled with my treadmill.
This is a fairly long review but when you’re purchasing a piece of equipment such as this, the more information from a real person, the better.
My husband and I had been thinking about a “spinning” type of bike for quite some time. We live on the coast in the Pacific Northwest where it pours rain constantly from about November thru end of April. My husband is an outdoor cyclist with the stamina and power of a professional—I’m talking a 75 mi bike ride and he doesn’t even break a sweat. I am a 55 year old menopausal woman with 30 extra pounds—my idea of cycling is taking a leisurely spin around the neighborhood. Our dilemma—purchasing a bike that suits the needs of both ends of the exercise spectrum. We looked and researched all types of bikes and were really hyped about bikes such as the Tour de France—how cool to have a bike that will simulate all terrains and to be able to input custom rides! Also we looked at the Pelaton—nice equipment that will stream classes straight to your home. Both sound awesome—but….after reading tons of reviews and really thinking thru the process—Tour de France sounds awesome in theory but in actual use—this is a piece of electronic equipment that depends on electricity and a working internet connection. Plus the connection to iFit also needs to be present. Reading reviews the theory is good but the actual, not so great—particularly in putting custom rides thru the iFit/Google maps program. So many people complained of the bike working great at first and then a few months later difficulty in either electronics or internet connectivity, and service can take weeks—we live in a rural area where basic services are difficult and specialty services almost impossible. Then on to the Peleton—again, electronic with either recorded or live streaming spinning classes—great! Not so great when it costs about $40 a month. The issue is that electronic bikes such as these have a weakness—eventually the electronics and programs become outdated, fail, need a internet connection, and too many computer/electric things that can go wrong. When that happens, that means down time waiting for service/repairs—who need that when you’ve paid over $1000 for a piece of equipment.
After painstaking research, we decided on the xTerra and I am so pleased that we did.
First off—this bike is a beast (and I mean that in a good way). Weighs in at about 130-140 pounds with a 48 pound flywheel. Sturdy, no wobble even standing up on big hill climbs. No electronics. We’re talking a simple knob to increase/decrease resistance—no brainer. Fully adjustable—fore and aft/up and down handle bars and seat.
Assembly=EASY. All the tools you need are in the box (I did end up using a different Allen wrench because the one that comes is a bit short in the neck and awkward to use while mounting the handle bars—definitely doable, but awkward). My husband was out of town and there was no way I was going to wait to have him come home and put it together. I assembled it in about an hour—I’m pretty handy with tools but I wanted to make sure I did it right. The instructions were clear. It is a bit awkward with one person but I attached the front and back stabilizers with the bike on its side—with first the back and then the front propped up on 2 pieces of the Styrofoam packing, and then up righted the bike for the handlebars and computer installation. The computer is a bit simple, not fancy and the directions could be a bit better, but I called customer support and a tech was put on right away and walked me thru the questions I had. The bike also comes with a chest heart rate monitor which is pretty accurate—took my pulse while riding and the heartbeat and monitor were right in sync. Don’t make the same mistake I did…the monitor already has a battery installed and it comes with a spare battery (nice thought). I thought the spare needed to be inserted and it was a PIA to get the back cover off and then get back on again—the screws are teeny. The monitor wire is in a bit of an awkward place and I put a small piece of tape on it to hold to make sure it never slacked with the possibility of getting caught in the flywheel—I really don’t think that is a possibility without the tape but I’m a bit OCD. The pedals come with a toe cage or flip it over for SPDs. My husband is going to change out the pedals to Speedplay Frogs since that what we use on our outdoor bikes.
The ride is SMOOTH. It barely makes any sound, just a faint woosh. The seat is really comfortable and I don’t find the handle bars scratchy like some reviewers. Quick and easy adjustment of seat and handlebars with quick release handles which slides up and down for a custom fit—no holes for measurement so no more what to do if you’re between holes. I’m 5’5, my husband 6’.
I have a TV/ROKU/DVD in front and my first ride was an 11 mile Napa valley loop in the springtime DVD (thank you Bike O Vision-it was pouring rain outside). With all the biking and training DVDs out there plus all the different things you can find on You Tube I am so glad we didn’t pay twice as much for electronics that break, don’t work properly, need updates or need repairs. This bike is beautiful in its simplicity. I know that my husband and I will get years of riding out of it.
CONS—1. If you’re looking for something light that is easy to move, this isn’t it, even though it does have wheels on the front. This bike is heavy, so just keep that in mind.
2. The packaging was TRASHED on delivery—it comes by freight and depending on where you live can be passed thru multiple freight companies. I advise that you get the box in the house, open it up and inspect the bike to make sure there is no damage. The driver who delivered it was really patient and gave me time to inspect it before leaving in case it was damaged and I needed to refuse delivery. It was packed well, with only a couple of minor scratches on the paint—not such a big deal to me.
This is a good basic treadmill for a good price. I like using the preset programs. The grip pulse sensors don't seem accurate - but all around is a good machine.
The unit is solid and easy to assemble. They provide good assembly instructions. However, I was missing a part in the box. When I call customer service, I talked to a real person who answered the phone and he helped me get the replacement part. It was sent right away.
Now that I've had it assembled a few weeks, I am very happy with my purchase. It runs smooth and pretty quiet. For a budget rower I am very impressed with overall quality and how it works.
It shipped and arrived quickly. It looks nice, seat is comfortable and it rides very smooth and quiet.
I've had this rower for about a month. This rower is everything that I needed and you can't beat the price. It gives me a good workout. I added this to my cardio at home and I mix using my rower with the treadmill. It was delivered really fast and it was easy to assemble.
Wow! I looked for rowers for a few weeks, and finally decided on this on. I had wanted some other much more expensive high end options - you know the ones - but decided I'd give this one a shot. This was few hundred cheaper than those other said models - but still has all the features. It's well made and impressed with how smooth it is. I can change the levels of resistance - and get all the important info and programs I could ever need. This machine doesn't skimp on the features. It was simple to put together, did it on my own in 30 minutes.
I work out a lot. I've used many machines and I'm active in Crossfit (including the popular Concept2.) I have to stay, this XTERRA machine exceeded my expectations. This should definitely be ranked with the best of them. I am glad I got it. The combination of air and magnetic resistance the console makes it so easy to track progress. The construction is really solid and sturdy. I really have nothing negative to say about it.I have it for about a month and use it a few times a week, so far it's been holding up great.
I have been recovering from total knee replacement surgery and I needed to find a machined to keep active without hurting my knee. This machine has been perfect. I am getting stronger everyday and my knee feels amazing.
I purchased this machine about 2 months ago. I am impressed with the quality of the machine.
It took me about 3 hours from the time I got it, to unpack, assemble and cleanup. There are a ton of settings on the console and I think I have finally figured them all out. While I am impressed with the machine and the features, I wish the operators manual was more comprehensive. I had to figure out a lot on my own, especially the console details.
I am impressed with XTERRA Customer Service who walked me through the prcess and I believe their manufacturing quality is unbeatable especially for the pricing.
I have had multiple surgeries on my knees. I just completed physical therapy and the bought this machine about a month ago. I love it. It runs smoothly. It keeps me from being stiff. It does not hurt my knees but gives me great mobility. Machine is well made.
I received this bike yesterday and assembled it in about an hour. I am just under 5' tall and a senior citizen. The size of the bike is perfect and very comfortable to ride. Unlike the other reviewer, the computer functioned as expected. Great bike!
Very good purchase for the price if you just want to get your workout done! It doesn't take up a lot of room. Only took me about an hour to set it up.
Quiet enough that I can use it and watch TV. The built in programs are pretty effective. The power power cord is about 6 feet long, I needed to use an extension cord for it but works great all around.
I absolutely love my bike. Assembly was so easy, and it doesn't take up too much space at all so it's great! I am very satisfied with my purchase.
The seat height is adjustable - by 6' husband could ride it comfortably and so can I at 5' 3". The bike is nice and quiet, and it's perfect for me to be able to park myself in front of the TV and watch whatever I want to while exercising, instead of having to use sweaty gym equipment and being stuck with the news. I'm not the kind of person who can just "zone out" while exercising. At least not yet. So I'm very, very happy with purchasing this bike.
I'm only 5' 2' and was a little worried about buying a bike online without actually seeing it first. But I researched the FB150 and saw a lot of amazing reviews. It caught my eye when someone also shared they are only about 5' 1 and loved it. It's comfortable. I have had bikes where you have to add pads to the seat but this one works. I can't believe how little space it takes up. It's also really sturdy. I can't believe how quiet this bike is. I am super happy with my bike.
It has it's short-comings, but it's great at what it does.
I'm an averagely out of shape 32 year old male who enjoys exercise. I bought the bike to remove any barrier to exercise, and increase and maintain my baseline fitness.
I ride while I watch TV, play video games, etc. Then when I go to do outdoor adventure stuff I don't die.
Pros:
The seat structure is very supportive and comfortable.
It folds up very well, rolls easily, and takes up minimal space.
The price is awesome.
Cons:
The seat structure is great, but the seat is kinda hard. (An easy fix with aftermarket seat cover)
The magnet resistance is just adequate. Day one I had it maxed. This will not help you prepare for the hills. You will definitely get your heart rate up, and if you put in the rpm effort you feel the burn.
The computer is garbage. It doesn't work at all. It never gave me a heart rate no matter how long I held on. 25 minutes into my ride it said I had been riding for 14 minutes and burned 0.1 calorie.
There is a lot that could be improved, but I got it to take up minimal space and make a daily exercise routine as easy as possible. It definitely does that, and at a bargain.
I have had this elliptical for a little over 3 months and I am very pleased with it. I get in a solid workout every time. I like the simplicity of the console, it's easy to read and use. Love the location of the tablet holder.
I wasn't sure how good this machine would be for under $500 - but wow am I impressed. I was a little challenged assembling - some of the parts were heavy and I tried to do alone. I ended up getting help from a friend, then it was much easier. Once it was together, I was one happy person. I have been using it 3X a week - which is 3X more than i was doing before. Get a good workout and I'm down 10 pounds.
I got this as a christmas gift from my husband and I love it. It does not take up to much space which is important to me, i have 4 kids and need all the space I can get. With my busy schedule I was having a hard time getting any kind of workout in. Now I can hop on this elliptical for 30 minutes or even just 5 minutes (anything is better than nothing). It runs quietly and I get one hell of a work out.Assembly only took my husband 30 mins.
My husband put it together and it was easy for him. It an easy machine to use and my iPad sits in the perfect spot so I can read while I walk. I love this machine and would recommend it
I love this treadmill and it's perfect for the price. The preset workouts are challenging and perfect interval training.
Happy with this purchase. It was easy for me to set up and it's so simple to fold and put out of the way. I keep it in my family room. I have a place to set my iPad so I can read while running. Would recommend this for anyone who anticipates moderate use at home.
Perfect size if you don't have a lot of space. It's pretty quiet, I live in an apartment. It would be nice if the stride were a little smoother, but I feel like for the price it's a pretty solid machine.
I work out at the gym a lot and I just wanted to have something at home for the days I can't make it. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This machine fit my needs. It works well (not gym quality) but I get an efficient work out. I was a little challenged putting it together, but I did it all by myself. All around, happy with this purchase.
I had foot surgery a few months back and have had problems doing anything. I can use this machine easily without hurting my foot. It's great to be have the option to sit and use it like a bike or you can use the elliptical part. For me, it was a little more challenging to put together. Some say it's simple. I was able to do it, but it took me more like 2 hours.
Very happy with this product. It gives me a good work out. The movements are smooth and quiet. It took me and friend a little under two hours to put together. This machine doesn't take up a lot of room which is great, I live in a small condo.
Great product for the price. It was easy to assemble. Keeps me active when it's too hot to go outside. Very happy with this purchase.
Noticed right away building this that it was really well made and heavy! Don't need to plug it in so I can wheel it in front of the TV during my workout, then back in the corner when I'm done. First few workouts I was sore everywhere - haha, now starting to push it harder. I really like that the console is easy to use. Handlebars give you several places to grab and seat is adjustable for any size person (my wife is tiny) - well done!
Looks great, tough workout, well made. Perfect for when we crosstrain. Love it!
The box was beat up when it arrived, but the packaging inside was good and everything was in good shape. It went together pretty easily. I use this primarily for interval training and it's an amazing workout. About 10 workouts in so far and no problems. Being able to adjust the seat forward and back is really nice when I want to get into a better position to just push/pull on the arms with my feet on the stationary foot pegs. Only gripe is that I wish it had a water bottle holder, but I just put my water bottle on a table next to me.
Very happy with it so far, only had it for about 2 weeks. Good packaging and went together pretty easily, took me about 45 minutes start to finish. Very solid feel and blows wind like crazy, which helps keep me cool. I weigh just over 200 and I'm pretty muscular - I have been really pushing this thing hard and it takes it in stride. I would purchase again.
My husband and I have been doing CrossFit style workouts at home and wanted something like this which we use in the gym sometimes. Really impressed with the overall quality, better than the one at the gym for sure. It is really solid and the programs are just like the ones on the gym model. Love the white color!
This rower has become my go to every night after work. It's smooth, offers a lot of different levels of resistance and I'm able to track my heartrate and progress on the monitor. It gives me a full body workout and the seat and handles are cushioned which makes it comfortable.
I spent a little extra to buy this rower but I'm so glad I did. The LCD screen helps me track a lot more details than the other rowers. I can quickly adjust the tension and get an amazing workout each morning. It was pretty easy to set up.
If I had to go back and buy another bike, I'd make the same decision time after time after time. I simply love the look, performance, and value of this bike. It's a winner from every angle. I'm sure there are other bikes that rival this, but I can guarantee you that there are no bike out there better. Even if you willing to pay more, your not going to exceed this bad boy.
Overall I am happy with the value and quality of the TRX4500. I would give it four stars. It is a quality build and looks like it will last a long time. The unit is heavy, so when setting up ensure you have two strong people helping, with three recommended. It helps if you unpack the box and move some parts separately to lighten the load. You may need help putting the side arms on. The electrical wires can be tricky, so make sure you don't crimp them when putting on the console. I recommended wrapping in electrical tape to ensure against future wear.manu
Pros: fairly quiet, many programs, two user programs, very good display, heart and pulse monitor (didn't use), small fan, music input with speakers (didn't use), fold up option (didn't use)
Cons: The main reason I did not give this five stars is because the unit does not turn off automatically after non use. If you don't turn it off, the display stays on forever, and the fan blows if you happened to have it on. I find it very irritating to have to turn off the unit at the botton switch. The second major con is that there is no easy way to re-use the last program you were using, and to simply use that program for a different time period. I plan on using my own user program, but to execute that program I have to press a button 31 times to get to it, and if I want to change the time for a run, I need to enter my name (five button presses, age, weight, and then time). At over 40 button presses I am afraid they will wear out too soon. There needs to be a way to simply get back to the last program you used and go with minimal interaction.
Didn't Use: music input, heart rate monitor, fold up option
Single Mom, try to use it every morning. Great lower body workout, gets me sweating like crazy! My kids love it too.
I try to use the bike 4 times a week and I have been using it for about 2 months now. I had some questions on the electronics and called their customer service. They were very helpful in answering my questions. It doesn't take up a lot of space and is easy to move around which I really like in my apartment. It has a lot of adjustments and is really quiet. Most impressed with the looks of it up close, very cool.
The box arrived in pretty bad shape but the packaging was good, luckily no damage to the bike. I put it together in about 20 minutes with no issues. I weigh just over 250lbs and wanting to get down under 200 this year. Bike is sturdy and I really like the lever resistance adjustment, it's very easy to use. 4 workouts in so far and already 5lbs lighter...let's do this!
We bought this to suplement our outdoor rides when the weather is bad. I am 5'2" and my husband is 5'10". We can get everything adjusted pretty easily. The bike moved around a lot on our first couple uses, figured out the bottom frame parts were not adjusted - there are little round levelers under the frame to make it level which fixed the problem. It's really easy to move around - we stick it in a corner when not using. Probably going to swap out the seat with the same type we have on our mountain bikes since we both are a bit on the larger side.
Looks great, feels great, lots of features. Especially love the adjustability and conosle. Love it!
I have had this about 2 weeks with 6 rides in so far. Heavy flywheel and the lever tension adjustment have a really good feel. I am just over 6ft tall and it adjusts well within what I need. Very solid and the overall quality is pretty good. Assembly was super simple, had like less than 10 pieces I think. I had a front wheel flywheel bike that basically died, wasn't sure I would like the back wheel design even know it looks cool, but now I am really happy with it.
This is a really well thought out bike. Compared to what I looked at online at similar and higher prices, this one had everything. The looks are what first got me looking at it, but the big console, all the adjustability, and the smooth feel is really impressive at this price. I have taken classes before, not a serious rider by any means, but it has everything I want. Really happy with it so far and would buy it again.
The TRX4500 arrived today with cosmetic damage most likely occurring during shipping.
When discovered, the white glove service company did not want to set-up but Xterra assisted in convincing them it was ok so a local technician can replace the damaged parts and I will not need to set aside 1/2 a day for the 2nd delivery.
Sales, Service and Technical helped work through these issues and delivery occurred in only 4-5 business days.
So far A+ on Xterra’s behalf.
I just received the TRX4500 this week. Took 5 days to arrive. Delivery man brought into the garage and my son and I took the parts out and carried them to the basement. Much easier then trying to take the whole box down. Base is heavy but we managed. Took less then 30 minutes to assemble. Great directions. This thing is sturdy as can be. Best treadmill I have ever owned. Cannot beat the price. We are extremely happy with this purchase. Motor is strong, very quiet and easy to run on. Spend the extra money and get this over the smaller motors. Well worth it. Easy to fold up.
There's one thing that's always bugged me when I'm on the treadmill. I want to speed up or slow down, but I have to reach out and use the control on the main panel. I'm one of those guys that needs to get going for a while before I let go of the hand grips and start running for real. This has controls on the side handlebars that work great. I can make changes while I am holding them comfortably and then when I am running it makes it much easier to change speed or incline. Very happy with it so far.
Then I find the Trail Rider on the XTERRA site. It has speed and angle control buttons right on the handlebars. I can slowly move the speed up and jack up the incline and I never have to actually let go of anything. I'm running more stable and comfortable, and I don't need to worry about falling over and smacking my head on the deck.
I love this treadmill. I have only had it for about three weeks now but it runs great. I have put this treadmill to the test and so far it has not disappointed me. The display screen is a nice blue and very easy to see under florescent lights in my basement. The speaker quality is not the best but I use my ear pods anyway while running. I think this is the best value I could find feature for feature. Recommended a winner by a runner! You get an excellent warranty which hopefully I never need, but it is there if I need it.
This is one solid machine! The programs work great. I am a long time runner (about 10 miles per week) and this equipment just holds up. Great price for what you get. No regrets.
I've been through 4 treadmills in my life and all of them have been fold ups that have wobbly and weak decks. This one is the exception! Finally someone nailed an easy folding deck that doesn't feel like it is cheap or going to break. This treadmill feels like something I'd find at my local gym but it isn't commercial.
Getting a machine that could run 12 mph was important to me. I do a lot of sprints in my routine and this gives me the option of building a couple of my own programs that allows me to customize different things for my intervals. The buttons on the console that automatically go to set speeds and inclines also helps a lot with the intervals, one push of the button and it changes pretty quick.
I was a heavy mutha. But I managed to get it in my basement in my fitness room. Excellent addition. Will never buy Proform/Horizon again!!! Love the bright lit display, easy configuration. Build quality is excellent! Wish the warranty was longer but overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase!!! Would recommend!!!!!
Xterra TRX2500 is not only a great looking treadmill but what a great machine for the price. It is the BMW and AUDI of the lower priced treamills. Like those great cars you can buy more expensive models, but performance is the same. Keep up the great work building quality Xterra products! You guys are way ahead of your time!
I think my wife and I were tired of all the lack of attention we had been given in the big box locations and decide the better way was online. We were familiar with the usual motor , speed, programs, etc. We found the Xterra TRX3500 to be a great value and better price than the other choices out there. The machine looks much better than the photo of the treadmill online. Very nice overall.
What a little race horse of a machine. For the price and features you cannot go wrong with the Xterra TRX2500. I wish the elevation would go just a bit higher for my training regime. I need 20 percent elevation for my interval training. I do recommend this machine to my family and friends.
I'm a very picky person. I spend a lot of time researching most things prior to making an actual purchase. This is one that I am extremely satisfied with. The manufactured quality is exactly what you would expect from a brand higher priced. The simplicity of the console and the features are exactly what I was looking for. I use my ipad for Netflix, and music during my workout. It rest nicely on the console. I have no complaints, and highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality treadmill.
Why would anyone want more from a treadmill? Maybe you could get a little larger display, but why pay any more? Great machine! Just what we needed!
Extra-long and wide, but lets face it, I really wanted it for myself. Watching the biggest looser and seeing that I was not too far off that track, I decided I needed a machine that was not your typical Wal-mart / Kmart brand. I found the TRX3500 online after shopping a few other online stores and decided pound for pound this was my machine! It really is a good treadmill.
I am 6ft 8in and it is hard to find a machine in this price range that will accommodate my stride length. The TRX2500 is a great value and performs most execellently. Overall I wish it were a bit longer though.
I have only used this treadmill a few times, but I am thoroughly impressed with it. I bought it to replace a less expensive treadmill that had broken down numerous times over the past few years. The home inside delivery was an experience and hard to arrange but worth the effort. I highly recommend. It is heavy and a great value too!
TRX2500 Xterra is a great treadmill with many great features. I see myself using this machine for many years. I highly recommend women of all ages to this machine. The delivery people were fantastic meeting me @ my home and I was overall pleased with the service. Just wish the delivery people could have been a bit tidier on the clean up?
Put some color in your machine. Hey, I bought this machine to use in my home and I know it is not a club treadmill. I usually run while watching Bloomberg or CNN. It performs as expected and features are superior to many I shopped in the same price range, but the color is not up to performance level of the machine!
Ours is a growing family. When we decided to drop our gym membership and start working out at home, we needed a treadmill that would hold up. We found the Xterra machine online and decided to try it. Great value and features!
Really like the Xterra TRX2500. The only thing missing from my experience was the in home deliver. We opted for the curbside. If I could replay my buying experience I would have gone inside my house. Great machine whole family uses it! Go for the inside the house option on your delivery choices though.
Why would you pay more for another machine? It offers ever basic feature we were looking for in a treadmill. I wish there were more customized programs.
Great machine and we use it between four of us. I will recommend it to my friends and family.
First purchased treadmill and its everything I was looking for! Setup was super easy and delivery was a breeze! I was a little familiar with XTERRA from being a runner for so long, so when I was ready to actually purchase a treadmill, I knew it would be stable, quiet, and good quality. Best money spent in a long time.
"Every year I make a New Years Resolution that I'm getting in shape. Yeah yeah, I know. Everyone says it. I did year after year and never did anything about it except go to the gym for a few weeks and give up. This year the wife and kids decided would be different. So they got me one of these for Christmas.
And you know what, its pretty good. I won't say I'm the kind of person who likes running but this gets the job done. I love the size of that lcd screen on there. I use this first thing in the morning and I'm not always so awake when I'm on it. I have no trouble seeing the readouts at all. Its really well done. No trouble folding the deck down to run or putting it up to put it away again either. The assisted lift they used in the unit makes the whole thing easy.
This treadmill has helped me lose over 20 pounds so far, and I'm not done yet. "
Workhorse of a machine in a simple package. Wide, stable, quiet, and easy to use! When your 50 yrs old, running three plus miles is great and this is helping me do it!!!!
This 2500 is a gem among other treadmills with similar prices. Whole family can use the machine. We looked at other machines in our local Sears store, but found the Xterra a better value.
I was looking for a treadmill with some bells and whistles and found the XterraTreadmill. It performs better than expected! The warranty was great compared to others in the same price. Solid base for a 240 pounder like me
This is an excellent machine. It runs quietly and is very smooth. The deck feels comfortable when I'm running and with my knee injury this is important. There seems to be reduced impact and I'm able to run longer. And the handlebar controls are a nice thing to have.
Frame is sturdy and tough on this one. Much better than the $399 cheap ones you find online. Save yourself the hassle and pay a little more - you own't regret it.
I spent several weeks looking at different treadmills online. I wanted something that would fold up, have a high horsepower engine, and a great warranty, I found a $50 coupon and pounced on this one. It's been 6 weeks and I have no regrets. The only thing I wish were for louder speakers.
This treadmill is definitley made for some heavy duty people. I'm 250lbs of solid muscle and this thing takes a pounding from me Six mos in and Im very happy!
I just received the 6.6 this week. Did not take the full two weeks to arrive. More like 5 days. Delivery man brought into the garage and my son and I took the parts out and carried them to the basement. Much easier then trying to take the whole box down. Base is heavy but we managed. Took less then 30 minutes to assemble. Great directions. This thing is sturdy as can be. Make sure electrical connections snap into place. (Delivery man told me this) Best treadmill I have ever owned. Cannot beat the price. We are extremely happy with this purchase. Motor is great, very quiet and easy to run on. This thing is awesome. Spend the extra money and get this over the 2.0 - 2.5 motors. Well worth it. Easy to fold up. Did I say, awesome machine.
I've had my 6.6 for six weeks now. I've used it every day with no problems. Hard to beat the price..LOVE IT...GO XTERRA !!
Great treadmill, excellent cushioning, great ONE touch speed and incline controls on the handle bars. I have only owned this treadmill for a couple of weeks now. I ran a 5K run the first time I was on it and it performed well. I assembled it myself. It is very heavy and sturdy and took over an hour to put together but the directions were very clear. The 6.6 Xterra is my first treadmill and I love it!!
My 6.6 Xterra is great! It has a fan, heart rate monitor, incline up to 15%, ipod docking with speakers, many workout programs and levels, custom build your own programs, and many others. I only wish is that the instruction manual better explained the features
If you are looking to get back into shape or maintain a healthy level of fitness, I'd definitely recommend my 6.6 Xterra treadmill. All the bells and whistles you expect from an expensive machine for 2/3 less the price. Think we paid $999 and put this beast together ourselves! Great value and easy to assemble.
I can’t find a single thing wrong with 6.6 Xterra. If you’re looking for compact small treadmill, the 6.6 is probably not going to work. Excellent treadmill for the price, quite, doesn't take long to put together, I would definitely recommend. The price is right.
After powering up, we noticed that the display isn't working properly, so we saw how the warranty process worked. Prompt service from the Xterra folks. In a couple of days we were up and running. Sometimes it’s not about the up time buy how they take care of the customer that matters.
Very good treadmill, only one recommendation, make the louvers more adjustable or you can use a floor fan. Overall performance is “fan” tastic!!!
This treadmill was easy to assemble. Bought it online a month ago and wanted to state for the record it was a great buy. Only problem was freight company dropped the machine @ my front door. Hard to get into your house without a two wheeler or a buddy helping. Runs like a high end club machine only I don’t have to wait in line now.
I'm 5 foot 8 and 250 lbs, and it’s an F-16 fighter jet. It's very comfortable to run/ walk on. I really was looking to purchase a treadmill to work out. I really needed something with flex in the deck and easy on my knees. This 6.6 is right on!
Love it! Just wished the screen tilted. Have to be almost right above to see the screen to see it. Speakers buz sometimes with my Ipod in play, but with your headphones no problems. I highly recommend this product to my friends…. Great value!
I love the treadmill itself despite the small errors I have found. Over all it is great for anyone who loves to run. Great price and great treadmill.
I’ m a professional with few spare hours to spend on working out these days. The clubs were becoming a meat market and just wasn’t comfortable going to the 24 hours places in my home town anymore. I’m your typical 5K’er and run more for the comradery of friends when I run outside. I found the 6.6 Xterra from a recommendation of a friend that owns one…. Great advice!
12 MPH - - - - 15% ELEVATION--- LIFETIME WARRANTY WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FOR $999? XTERRA IS A WINNER AND KNOWN FOR DURABLILTY…. COMPARE AND SAVE! WE DID!!!
Shop around you will not find a better treadmill than the 6.6 Xterra for $ 999!!! Great features for the price along with a phenomenal warranty why buy anything else? I dare you!
Just received our 6.6 Xterra treadmill and very pleased with this machine…. Color of the machine is much nicer in person…. Don’t be let the photo online change your mind!
We love our 6.6 Xterra treadmill and highly recommend it to you, but the speaker sounds a little off. I know it’s not a Boise Sound Machine. You will find it to be a great machine otherwise.
Our 6.6 Xterra Trail Runner is one audacious machine for $999. Shop and compare others in the same price range and you will buy one too!!!!
Keeping up with all the latest product changes can be difficult sometimes…. When my husband and I looked for a treadmill we went to the brand names first. After not being satisfied with the lack of knowledge we found from the specialty dealer in our home town of Phoenix, we started becoming experts ourselves. After a couple of weeks of doing our due diligence we decided the Xterra 6.6 was the one! Great product with great features and Fantastic price!
WE ARE HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY! WITH OUR TRAIL RACE 6.6! IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT TREAMILL YOU’VE FOUND IT!
Shopped the specialty stores in Cleveland and saw many great treadmills. We went online to find many other great machines by Sole and Smooth. When we finally decided to buy a treadmill. The one machine that we found to be superior was the 6.6 Xterra Trail Racer. It had all the features of the upper priced machines with a price far lower, and it was a better value than those we compared online.
Trail racer 6.6 by Xterra is a great machine. The speed and incline on the handle bars are very responsive. The brighter and larger display never leaves eye contact. Overall a great find !*****
hard to find these features anywhere else for under a grand. free shipping and no tax sealed the deal for us.
There are away too many treadmill companies out there to choose from. I only look at two things: weight capacity and frame durability. I'm a big dude and need to know this thing is going to hold up strong with my heavy footed pounding. So far this thing has rocked out for me! No issues and we're 5 months in with heavy use. No regrets for this price!
first and foremost the screen and deck are gorgeous and well worth the money i paid. i was just a bit disappointed in the sound quality of the speakers but no one really uses speakers nowadays with ipods and phones so was never a big issue. i just wished i had gotten some help getting it delivered. shes a heavy machine!!
No issues so far, considering how great of a deal on it I was expecting something to give me trouble. We may finally have a winner after years of searching for a high quality treadmill.
I'M A BIG GUY AT 290LBS AND NEEDED SOMETHING THAT CAN SUPPORT ME RUNNING. THIS DECK IS RATED AT 350LBS AND WAS BY FAR THE BEST BARGAIN IVE FOUND ONE ONE THAT CAN SUPPORT HEAVIER GUYS. SO FAR SO GOOD. NO PROBLEMS. HOPE I DONT HAVE TO USE THE WARRANTY!!
As soon as I started checking out the market for treadmills, I knew that I was gonna have to come up with a list of what I needed. There is just so much out there that I felt like I was drowning in choices. I ended up deciding on the Trail Racer 6.6, and here's why :
-It has to be easy to use and control while you're on it. I wanted something I could read and change without any problems. The touch controls work great and the screen is nice and big. And the handlebar controls for speed and incline work awesome. I like having options like that when I work out.
-It has to be something that will last a long time. This treadmill has a good steel frame thats not gonna fall apart on you. A bit tough to put together, but we got it done.
-I had to know what my pulse rate was doing. The 6.6 comes with the chest strap you can use to keep track of your heartrate. I like keeping track of it, so I know when I should slow things down or work harder.
-I had to be able to afford the thing. Some of these treadmill prices are crazy. I don't need stuff for a pro gym, I need something to use at home. This one had all the stuff I was looking for, and I didn't need a second mortgage to buy it. Nice price.
I wasn't going to let another year's resolution to lose weight and feel better get away from me. No, this time I was actually going to give it a try. So I started checking out treadmills.
I live in a small apartment, so I don't have the space to have one out for use all the time. And some of these folding units are just ridiculous, you'll throw your back out trying to fold them up and wheel them in to the closet! Not the Trail Racer 6.6. That lift assist really works well and makes it easy to set up and to put away. It's a solid treadmill for a pretty good price.
